Can you believe this — 106 days without bread, soda, sugar (the white kind in almost all packaged foods) or white flour. I am amazed at accomplishing this and amazed at how it really works. I have lost weight and have more energy too! I’ve noticed over the last few days that my procrastination is getting better. This is wonderful because without so much procrastination in my life, the less guilt I feel. So, that’s another great bonus for eating healthy that the Blood Sugar Solution gives me! Meal line-up today is fantastic! Since I have the day off, I can have a nice, long breakfast at my ‘clown’ table and I look forward to enjoying all the 5 taste receptors throughout the day. The 5 taste receptors are sweet, salty, sour, bitter, & savory. However, in recent years there has been a change in using the word ‘savory’; it is now called “umami”, a Japanese word meaning “pleasant savory taste”. Enjoy learning about this savory information and don’t forget to bring all your taste receptors to the table!

Breakfast: Soy-Nut Pancakes with Strawberry and Banana Sauce

Lunch: Parmesan Cheese, 5 blue corn tortilla chips and small banana none because I was shopping! Off days are great!

Snack: Poached Pears with Cashew Cream with soy milk and a palm-size of nuts

Dinner: Soy Good Maple-Glazed Salmon, Edamame Shelled Soybeans and Chopped Broccoli with Olives
