What a wonderful day I have had even though it was weigh-in day…it didn’t break my stride. And not even the fact that I only lost one pound (for the 5th week in a row). One pound adds up and I am beginning to feel better that maybe I will be able to stick to a good workout schedule. I have three wonderful sisters and one of them has suggested we bring back our ‘group exercise program’, ‘The 5 for 5’. Like she said we need to be accountable! We started it back up yesterday so I will post how it is going for me. I am doing the Richard Simmons ‘Dancing to the Oldies’ for 20 minutes, to increase the time as I am able. So, weigh-in day is just an ordinary day but for the fact, I jump on the scales first thing in the morning. Today I read 198! I am excited about that because when you start at 227 and now can type 198…the ‘one’ pounds add up! I will reach my target goal. But the best thing about it is that my blood pressure is better than it has been in years (last reading was 120/68). I’m expecting other lab work this week.
