Today is Sunday and my meals are all planned. So I can relax and thank God for so many blessings that He continues to give me. I have been enjoying this blog and this way of eating so much…and believe it is a blessing from God that He has given me the ability to do it and to appreciate the foods that are on the BSS program. When I discuss my meals with others, it amazes me how many do not like kale, collard greens and even shrimp. So, that is why I feel blessed because I honestly do like these foods. And I believe this is why I do not crave the ‘junk’ I used to eat, eating the real foods in the right combination keeps the cravings for ‘junk’ foods at bay.
Breakfast: Blueberry and Flax Protein Shake
Lunch: Sun-Dried Tomato Turkey Burger and Black beans
Dinner: Lentil and Chicken Stew and Sweet Potato-Carrot Mash
