Kiwi Fruit and Flax Protein Shake. The kiwi is from a climbing vine native to China; cultivated in New Zealand for its fuzzy edible fruit with tart green meat or flesh. It really is a good fruit and makes a wonderful shake. I might like it more with two added instead of just one kiwi. But, for this shake I only used one and two scoops of protein powder and about 8oz of filtered water. And of course a full tablespoon of flax. This shake was very thick…I almost had to use a spoon to “drink” it.
