Day 53


I’ve had a good day today. I made it through work but took a break from the gym although I really do feel an increase in my energy level. Today was weigh-in day and boy was I excited…the scales said 207.5! That is 19.5 pounds that I’ve lost so far with many more to go but I won’t go into that right now! However, I will say that with these delicious dishes from Dr. Hyman’s cookbook (The UltraMetabolism Cookbook) are so enjoyable that I will never want to go back to “frankinfoods” again! I love this way to lose weight, nothing has worked for me like this in many years! I can not tell you how wonderful the dishes are that I am enjoying. I’m actually cooking my way to better health! haha… I hope that you will print out the recipes and try these dishes for yourself.

Breakfast: protein shake with flax seed

Lunch: Pork Tenderloin, Peach Quinoa with Flax and Nuts, celery, carrots, pickles, olives and nuts

Snack: Zucchini and Onions

Dinner: Roasted Shrimp and Herb-Roasted Butternut Squash with Shallots and Garlic

    That’s a great line. Isn’t that what food and nutrition are suppose to be all about? It’s hard to make sense of gourmands and foodies who do not make health their main focus.
