Flag for Memorial Day

Today is Memorial Day! I don’t remember when I had the day off but today I have off. What a wonderful feeling, to have a whole day to myself! I had my meals planned for the day and with the extra time this morning I was able to try another breakfast dish from Dr. Hyman’s The UltraMetabolism Cookbook. Of course, I will not be having barbeque and it’s not because the BSS doesn’t allow it… it’s more because I don’t like barbeque. haha.

Breakfast: Peach Quinoa with Flax and Nuts

Lunch: Pork Tenderloin and zucchini and onions

Dinner: Chicken Cacciatore and salad
