Mondays! I don’t understand it and I’m sure it’s all in my head but I have the hardest time getting started on Monday. But, today was OK. At least I made it to work and finished my work day at a normal hour. I was even able to go to the gym and get in a mile on the treadmill! I’m excited today because I have made it six weeks without processed foods, bread, pasta or rice, soda or any sugary drinks! Never thought I could do that, but when you substitute whole foods in combinations offered with the Blood Sugar Solution menus, it really makes it easier. The cravings go away and you can focus on “real” foods. And you lose weight too.
Breakfast: protein shake with flax seed
Lunch: chicken, vegetable medley, pickles, and nuts
Dinner: Pork Tenderloin (we used the sauce from the Apple-Soy Roasted Salmon because it was so good). Black beans and broccoli and cauliflower salad.
